The DSU Small Business Development Center's (SBDC) mission
is to provide high quality business assistance through counseling,
training, and research to existing and prospective businesses in the

Institute for Technology & Enterprise Development
Through a grant from North Dakota's Center of Excellence
Initiative, this institute focuses on developing high paying jobs
and creating new businesses in western North Dakota. Initial
funding is being used to partner with Killdeer Mountain
Manufacturing to identify issues and develop solutions involving
supply chain transparency, employee communications and advanced
manufacturing technology. Long term focus of the project will
expand those areas of work to other enterprises in the region.

North Dakota Trade Office
This DSU-based center offers a comprehensive network of
export service providers dedicated to assisting the state's business
community. The service network includes international shippers, law
firms, bankers and other export trade professionals who are ready to
help companies succeed in the global marketpace. Contact

Job Service North Dakota
Job Service North Dakota assists businesses in
acquiring qualified workers. Job Service also has several
opportunities for businesses to access training funds. State
programs like Workforce 2020 and the New Jobs Training Program can
provide businesses with funds to upgrade the skills of their current
